Why do you feel this precision tool is a gizmo? For engine, exhaust tuning and chassis set up, it is indispensable. With as many variables as there are in engine building, tuning, and chassis set up, how do you do it? Do you have a dyno in your garage?
Nope, no dyno in the barn, no G-Tech in the car (or smart phone app) and I'm perfectly happy without either one. Plug color, engine response and maybe highway mileage are about all I look at. Not much on bragging rights, just in it for the fun, keeping some grease under my finger nails and melting a little metal together once in a while.
