Back in the days
I don't know if this will work, but ran across this yesterday---If it works and it opens at 6:39 into part 5----------I don't know who she was/is, but that's my truck behind her------and dragster, and me bending over the engine----------

our funny car was also in the video but earlier in the tape----
Must of been in Texas as I never let Robin go to any races down there-----------

Actually, it was at Tulsa Ok in 1972? at the Don Garlits Pro Challenge?? a pprotest race against the NHRA low pay outs for the Pro catergories--they only paid $3000 back then to winner of race and this event was $25,000---the next year it was moved a week so that the racers could also attend Indy and this race
Oh, yeh, my Pinto funny car is at 4:30 in this tape----also pic from this race with the chute out was on the cover of some magazine back then with out any photog credit listed---don't remember the mag but if I run across it around here I'll pst it
