    Nhra

I just received the latest edition, by email, of NHRA news and it seems as though Toyota has been named the "official" car in a multi year deal. That really tickles me as Toyota doesn't even have a dog in the hunt, a real one that is. Maybe they should change the name to National Hot "Ricer" Association.

Toyota's official check reflected the official amount of official money that the "dead between the ears" official NHRA bigwigs were eager to officially deposit in the official bank.

Gotta pay the bills right? And since it seems they sell more cars over here than anyone else.. it's good of them to hand some back so we can complain about all the terrible racin' we ain't watchin'....

Just saying, it IS business as usual.. with our French water, and our Polish sausage or German beer.. we can watch our Japanese drag racin'!!

Hmmmmmmmm, guess that might means they won't be throwing the 14-15 mil at Force he needs.

....with Toyota having a state of the art engine works in Costa Mesa, CA that does scratch built racing engines; and a state of the art chassis works in Salisbury, NC to do the cars I'd say they can be a strong presence in any venue where they choose to play.

So there won't be any televised NHRA events this year? Only audiocasts?
