I think ESPN did a far better job this time they weren't trying to do live elimins within a time slot========
if you see a rerun thry to figure out what was coming out of Jegs car at the finish line????

And the next time Larry Morgan comes to the line he is caught sleeping and get's caught with his hand in the cookie jar! Sigh.. He ran an almost identical E.T. / Speed but leaving 6 tenths late in Pro Stock is certain death!!
I'll have to see if I can find a replay and watch for the Jegs car.. there was also some nice pieces thrown in like John Force running his daughters Top Fuel rail in an exhibition.. but while they talked abunch about Capps crash, they didn't spend much time covering it over and over.. Some new faces too. And I see on Saturday is a NASCAR race on that FoxSports channel, the former SPEED... so that must mean spring is closer..??..?? HURRAY!!!! 8-)

Geez, they better keep John out of the rear engine cars!!! He might decide he likes the fire and smoke behind him rather then in his face!!!!!
Yeah, ain't no .6 light going to be competitive anywhere in any class!!!! Morgan is just too sporadic on the lights, maybe time to put a different driver in the car. He gave away some rounds last year with poor lights. Like Jeggy, lots of times he's had less car then half the field but he has the ability to step up and do the big holeshot wins when it counts!!! If someone could ever lure Billy Glidden away from IHRA........Talk about a tree master!!!! Learned his lessons well!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Didn't Billy get caught "cheating" in NHRA? And was banned for life I think??
John said he tried the daughters rail and didn't like it! I didn't think he could even squeeze between the frame rails!!! ROFL!!

And them new Camaros----how many runs were exactly the same at 212.06??????????even in the same race?????????
Looks like time for DSR to get rid of the extra weight in there dragsters
They had more coverage of Hagen than Force???
After seeing the intake valve from Capps engine I'm anxious to see the valves from Cruz's engine and I would like also to see them from that dragster that blew up---Looks like the hardened Ti golf tee tip is too long and the valve pulled apart at the groove-- could be that the keepers aren't tight enough on the stem ---might be a issue that will show up a lot because of some faulty new parts combos-------

The guy I'm watching this year will be Chad Head, Big Jim's kid!!! Good to see him get his butt out of an office and into his Dad's funny car! Gotta wonder if he'll ever be as good as the old man????
Billy was "cheating" all right....and the heads he got caught with are now on sale from Edelbrock. Amazing how what was "cheating" is now a commonplace part!!! I was still actively racing at the Divisional level when the whole Glidden fiasco went down. Still appears to me that the Ford camp got caught doing what the other teams had been doing for years!!! The kid wasn't real popular, and IMO NHRA was afraid another Glidden would come in and dominate so they used the cheating as an excuse to run him off. With all new folks running NHRA and the old "my way or the highway" bunch gone I believe he could get an NHRA license again-----if he were so inclined to go back and play big money politics again...... Gliddens, Johnsons, Bushes, Clintons,Reagons--- all outdated--so is congress---executivate orders is the new way---NHRA will tell you how fast you can go, and you better bring millions to the table-------------

Yeah, Pro Stock is a game of milliseconds now. The cars are even, the lights are fast and it's a drivers race all the way.
Capps crew chief showed the locks and said they found some that weren't dimensionaly correct, so they hand-inspected and removed those that they found wrong.
Typical TV, now they need some drama so they will hype up the Hagan angle... drama sells I guess..

I don't believe Billy would touch NHRA today, for love nor money! But who can say? I was just happy to see Morgan be competitive for 6 seconds! LOL..
