5th annual Byron MELTDOWN Drags
Went to Byron for the 5th annual Meltdown Drags yesterday. It is a race of 60s style gasser stuff plus large parking lot full of driven 60s style cars. Took over 270 pics that I will be attemping to do Photo Bucket type uploading. Will take a few days-------
This was absolutely an event that I have seen no equal to----the parking lot wasn't TRAILER QUEEN (no malice here, just well known general description), but was all 60s driven stuff with occasional other era vehicles.
The race was also all 60s type ---straight axle, altered wb,Willys, Willys,Willys---etc--you'll see when I get them loaded--------
Only downside---Ice Cream machine overheated ay food stand---------

Jerry I started going to nostalgia drags here on the west coast and don't care if I ever run another NHRA event. It is like it was when I was growing up in the 60's. I'm finishing up my 55 and starting my 51 coupe to run c gas. These events bring the fun back, and the crowds are something else. Thanks in advance for posting photos. I would also recommend every one to check out the website WDIFL.com.

Copy & paste the image files, Jerry, up to 35 in a post, and then simply "reply" to the post and do another group of 35.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.

I use photobucket and other than photobucket being a POS to deal with, I use the image code and this site has no issues with them.Ryan
