He's a old friend that had a bad weekend at the Vegas Drag strip.

Here is A old friend that I grew up racing with.
He's in the silver Vette here at the drag strip in Vegas this past weekend.
I hope he has a good glass man, to bad he looked fast with a bigger turbo and new motor. Atleast Troy Caffaro was ok though.

Believed he stayed in it a bit too long.

Things can go wrong awful fast, ask Jerry Clayton or Dave Severson, Tech, and or Pat McCarthy.
Especially at over 200 MPH. Too bad to because Troy was pulling away from Mike when his car broke traction and headed for the wall.
You can see Troy in the front, out Mikes window from inside Mikes car.

Just found a video showing all of his runs until his crash.
    He's pretty consistent running from a 197 to a 204 MPH I believe.

It takes a human 1/2 second to see/think/respond--------250 mile per hour is 366 feet per second(IIRC) so you'll be 183 further down track (runway, etc)BEFORE you can do anything------------

It can get a little scary, if you think about it to much Jerry.
Of course that's why they build roll cage's, right.
