"Complete guide to Chassis peerformance". It does a good job I think of explaining it.

I did the next best thing. I called the guy that certified the chassis. I should have done that in the first place. It took about an hour of explaining, but he managed to get the principal thru my skull and the information was absorbed by my brain. It's a good thing I double checked it, cause it was set up for the street. If I had managed to launch this thing at the track I would have done a 17' wheel stand. Yep, the car is 17' from bumper to bumper. It's all fixed now. I'm going to order the book so I can learn as much as possible. Thanks Pro.Mike Casella

These 4 link setups are unbelievable how they control the suspension. My 32 Ford had a triangulated 4 bar and it was one of those put it in and go type. Now that I inderstand it better, I have set it to "aledgedly" carry the front wheels about 4 to 6" off the ground for at least 60' if not more. I have to see if I can put a link to a short video in here. I think I can, I think I can.Mike Casella

If you right click on this link, and choose "save target as" you'll see what happens when you don't have enough meat on the front tires, and just enough on the rear tires. And I changed my web site. Check out the multimedia page, there are a bunch of clips of the 32 at the Nostalgia Drags.

You should see my garage floor. I had to draw out the suspension to map it out. I have all these chaulk lines going all over the place. Now I have to put it on a piece of plywood so I can save it.Mike Casella

This might sound like a 'duh', but more often than not, the answer can usually be found at a decent local library. They have books on ...everything !
Yeehaaaa! I would REALLY like to see a pic of that wheelstand....now I remember the old days when TV TOM, Don Garlits and that crew doing the coolest fiery burnouts...
Thank you Roger. .
