emission controls
I have a 84 corvette I pick up for a I feel a great price $1,650 complete and running so said. the first thing I done was pull the engine and trans and now in the process of updating it new engine is a .030 350 with flat top pistons 2000 to 6000 roller cam advance 3 degrees 1990 alum. heads and tpi instead of the misfire injection it had full tube headers rebuilt trans with 2500 convertor and shift kit. I plan on trying to start this for the first time this weekend. I'm using a 85 computer and harness but have done away with all emission controls and tpi doesn't have a cold start injector. Is there any way to trick the computer and not set a check engine light by install resistors in wiring to sensors?
It also has a jacobs ign. computer chip and a 165 t-stat.
Any help would be great.
Thanks Don
