It Certainly helps in adjusting hydraulics if you have the intake off so you can see whats going on. on a performance hydraulic cam when the intake opens and starts to close , adjust the exhaust valve. When the exhaust starts to open , adjust the intake. With the intake on the motor I cant see whats going on ,with a new cam and lifters I might think I feel something that I dont . Id rather be watching and feelng over just feeling.--------AND THATS WHAT SHE SAID!
