727 trans to 318
Can any of my mopar brethren tell me if there are different cases FOR A 727 TRANNY IN A BIG BLOCK VS SMALL BLOCK application?
I have a 318 that Im dropping in an old pickup and I have a 727 tranny that I pulled from my 383 drivetrain and want to use it behind this 318 - but I keep seeing people advertising 727's specifiacally for big blocl OR small block applications.

well, Ive answered my own question with this helpful link
http://www.allpar.com/mopar/torqueflite.html
Basically - there is a case difference - 727-a is the small block version case and the 727-b is the big block
Anyone got a small block version they would be willing to trade for a big block version? I have done some vlve body work to this unit and played around with it in my 66 plymouth/big block before taking that car off the road for awhile.
Lemme know,
thanks!
