The 700r will bolt right in ! You will have to get a TV cable setup , lokar has them and a wiring kit for the converter lockup . You can get a kit from painless for the converter . The only other changes would be for the rear tranny mount and the drive shaft length . I,m not sure about the yoke sizes !! Hope this helps as the OD will work nice on the road with the 3:7 's,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

PS the starter could pose some problems also as a 700r has no starter bolt holesLast edited by four webers; 03-31-2005 at 01:53 PM.

Yup, pretty much what 4webers said. the biggest part is going to be gettin' a driveshaft made, and that's not bad at all. It'll bolt right to the block, you'll want to put in a switch for the converter lock up and remount the tranny mount. Not a bad swap at all and that 700 won't rob as much power as the 400.
