    350 RamJet or larger

I'm building a 1954 Buick Special hot rod Cruiser, with emphasis on Cruising. I started out with the intention of going with the Ramjet 350 Crate Motor, but have been really enticed with the Ramjet 502. I really want a reliable cruiser with some get up and go and plan to take short trips of 500 miles or less. Anyone have suggestion of whether or not I should stick to my original plans and go with the RamJet 350 or something larger.

If you have the funds for it, bigger is better, especially for a big car. Ram Jet 502.

I dont think you can lose with either one. Just keep a lot of money in your pocket. Here is some info on both to help make a decision. I notice they also have manuals on the installation of both of these. The ease of install might make your decision easy.

    What's wrong with a nice nail-valve, maybe a 455?

a 455 rocket? c'mon those are sad excuses for big blocks. those are about the same performance as a 350sbc.

i say all the power 2 u with the 502 ramjet. thats a nice engine and would look pretty damn good in an old skool buick.
