    chevy small block heads

I bought a set of reman. cylinder heads (350 chevy), from the local parts store and and least one of them is suspected of being shaved to much. The couple of intake bolts that I can start, just jack the intake away from the head.

So I can only imagine that a person could could messure the depth of a head bolt hole, but I can't find a spec to compare to.

If anyone can let me know a spec for this, it would rock.
I need to shove this up somebodies nose, if you all get my drift.

hi i think that you are right and you may have got abd set of heads. take them to the machine shop and have them messured. as far as the bolt holes in the block, make sure that you have cleaned them up good and i don't think that is any problem.
