    350 T.p.i.

I recentely bought a 35 chevy with early T.P.I. I drove the car from Missouri to Oregon with no problems. While fixing raddles inside the firewall. I moved the six postion switch which regulates the F.I. lean-rich. Its a hit and miss whether it will start let alone run when you give it gas. Has anyone had such a switch on their T.P.I. unit? If so what starting procedures do you use and where do you run yours at. Thanks Ron

Do you have a picture of the switch? Is it a factory item or has someone cobbled one into the harness?

The switch has no name on it. Its a gray 3X2" box that goes somewhere which I havent figured out yet.Looking at the swithch on the left side is 1 with the word(leaner) above it. The right side has the number 6 with the word (richer). Since I have moved the switch it has no rime or reason when it will start. The few time I have started it and move the swith it has made a difference on how it runs, but as soon as I give it gas it dies and its start all over. Thanks for your input Ron

is it a factory TPI or after market? you sure you havent pulled a vac. line lose or something and might be spending to much time on that sw? or was there a ground to that sw and you lost it when you moved it. sounds like an adj. MAP sensor or something and that would need a vac. hose. i really dont know, just talking.
