Arden Heads
Can anyone tell me what a set of arden heads is worth? I know someone who has a brand new set that have been crated for years. They were told that these were a promo set and that they were rare as only a few were made and one three sets still existed. Wish I had more info. but any educated guesses would be appreciated.

Only correcting so people you talk to will take you seriously. The name of the heads are Ardun, not Arden. They are being made again, so orginals are valued primarily for nostalgia reasons as the makers claim the new versions are superior. Check them out here:

And while we're correcting, they're not quite as rare as what your original post would indicate, though rare none the less. Best estimates for the larger sized sets that fit 85-100 horse engines is 3-400 originals. Now, if the set you refer to is for a V8 60 horse configuration then those are much more rare, probably 10-15 sets ever made, and those are not repoped, though the basic engine tooling was sold to Simca who ended up making a very similar "clone" of the Arduns.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
