Question Help me build my stroker

I have a 400 small block. Just the block with the heads. I plan on sending it out and getting it cleaned and honed.. Now I would like to build a 383 stroker. I'm 16 and this is my first motor. Are there complete kits I can buy to do this? Do I do any boring etc. Anything you can give me for info would help.. Or sites where I can buy kits or parts..Thanks..
If its got tits, tracks, or tires, its gonna give to troubles.

The 383 has been beat to death as a subject on this board, here are some of the threads you'll want to read....

umm, if you already have a 400 block, why not just get a 400 crank and get some more CI?

Thanks, I must have been asleep at the wheel not to realize that he said he has a 400 block

    A 383 is built with a 350 block and 400 crank.

    A 377 is built with a 400 block and 350 crank.

Put the 400 crank in it, bore it 0.030" and you have a 406.
