Oil Filter
I have a 57 283 with the cannister type oil filter. Is there a conversion kit to change it to a spin on type filter? Or...what type of filter and what type of thread coupler for the filter is used?

The adaptors used to be pretty popular. I've heard rumors a few years ago that NAPA still carried them, otherwise you might check Car Quest or E Bay.

Thanks...cool kit. I found it on e bay but will check with NAPA. The e bay kit opening bid is 19.25 + ship. It may be cheeper sans shipping at NAPA.
