Cool Blown 871 BDS Shelby 427 Stroker Engine

Just a heads up on how it's going: We got the engine back from the engine builder last week and should be getting our BDS 871 Blower & Intercooler setup , next week sometime. Can wait to get the setup on our engine ,get it installed in the car and see how much it's going to stick thru the hood of the flip-top front end.
We are building the 69 Shelby GT 500 Convertible (ProStreet).
We bought a custom built 871 blower fuel Injection setup off ebay to use on our engine. It uses 2 billet throttle bodys,4150 style(1000 CFM ea.) and a injector bar which bolts on the 2V blower top. We still have to buy the Bugcather! I'd like to get the Barn-door style Polished Bugcatcher but hate to shell out the $1000 bucks for it when we still have to get several other items, like the Holley Pro 950 (Brain),fuel Shut-off and other items. Trying to find a sponsor to help us finish the car is the "PITS". Several people said they would be interested ,when we are finished with the car! I need them now;won't need them when we get it finished! I'm sure you guys can relate to that!!!
I wanted to go with the Whipple 671-871 Polished blower & intercooler for our Hampton FE Blower intake we already have, but Whipple said they didn't have any belt drive setup for the FE & didn't know if they would ever make one, so we went with the BDS setup! The blower setup we got is setup for pump Gas,so that will help running the car on the street.
This project is costing more coins than I though so I guess I'll have to sell some more parts on Ebay! I'm trying to find someplace local to sell some blood so I can buy some more parts! LOL!!!!(Mustangwizard on EBAY)

Sounds like a bitchin' project. I can relate to the coinage issues. You know what they say, the differance between men and boys is the cost of their toys!!! Always rings true. It's a good thing we can't sell body parts, there would be tons of people without kidneys and such...

Lots of things can cause that nat. It would be a good topic in the general forum. Asking a question like that enless it is specifically directed at the person who posted the thread (in this case Shelbyman) is called hihacking a thread and considered bad form.
