Anyone hear of or remember Bowman cams?
I have a NOS Bowman cam in my motor. Does anyone remember Bowman? Did they produce decent cams? I think they went out of business or were bought in the late 60's, and recall they were at least fairly widely used in the mid-west states. In the old terminology my unit would probably have been called a 3/4 race. I've no idea what their lash recommendations were. so am using stock gaps of .019. Lift is .460 and duration 270. Motor is '56 Ford 292.
