I recently put a eldelbrock 650cfm on my 305 sb. well in the instalation, my fuel line clamp stripped out, to make a long story short big flames, and lots of water to put it out. I did not have my air cleaner on, and while putting it back together, the #5 plug have water in the end. I have got it to fire but the dang thing wil not idle. the carb is set to eldelbrok's 2 turns out for fuel and air and all the vaccum lines are plugged off. wd40 was used around the carb and intake and no leaks? any ideas on where to go from here?
