compression ratio
im building a 383 stroker motor.
ive got 63cc chamber trick flow twisted wedge heads an 800cfm demon carb vac. secondary, HEI dist (aftermarket), headers
hi-flow exhaust. the rotating assy. im looking at says approx 10.9 compression ratio with the flattops. i have to run this motor on pump gas (92 or 93 octane) for the street. i was told that would be fine id just have to pull some timing out. what are your guys opinions on this??
