Converting a Th400 to a reverse valve body?
What's involved with changing a standard Tranny into a reverse valve body?
Is it as easy as just changing the valve body on the bottom of the tranny, under the pan?
Is a total rebuild needed?
Expensive?I am just learning as I go.

yes it is just the valve body and and governor and the front band and there is some things you can take out to that make the trans hit harder it should be re bulit so you do all the things that make it work good .i have all my400 trans this way for many years

I actually had it rebuilt last year, and I put a shift kit in it, But I am changing out the Hurst console shift and changing over to a B and M quicksilver. I t would make sense to yank it back, the slap it forward....I am just learning as I go.
