cant start 350
my friend had a collapsed lifter in his truck so he replaced it put everythign back together and all he gets out of it is a quick pop teh thing dosent crank over and dosent run just pops thats it what do you guys think it could be.

yeah sounds to me like when he put the dist back in he didn't get the timing right, either on the drop in or on the wires.....just because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

distributor wired wrong:
180 out
wrong firing order
fireing order not lined up on compression stroke
wrong rotation
not plugged in
plugged in but bad connection
bad module ( unlikely as it was running before but possible )
bad pick up coil ( ulikely also )
missing rotor button.
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
