nitrous question
ive been doing alot of research on nitrous oxide which i think is a great power adder for cost to power ratio. i came by a forum of people talking about nitrous causing flames to come out the tail pipe. i have actually never seen nitrous used in person but i think its bull i dont think nitrous causes flames to come out of the exhust. what do all of you think.

..... I'd say if the timing was off {meaning an exhaust valve was open when it should have been closed} & the fuel/air mixture fired? Well yeah, it'd flame out the pipes........

What I believe you are speaking of is when they inject gas in the rear of the tailpipe ( and sparkplug/sparkbox ) to make a flamethrower, SOME of the WILD setups add nitrous with LOTS of gas to make monster flames, VERY DANGEROUS.Objects in the mirror are losing
You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
