Dart, AFR, World products, Trick Flow, Jegs, they all make pretty good heads, take your pick. the larger the intake runner cc, the higher up the power band your HP will fall, because of port velocity, a 195cc head would be good on the street.You don't know what you've got til it's gone

I would shoot for 10:1.
I personally built and ran a 350 with ported double hump heads at 11:1 on pump gas. It pinged initially and then I indexed the spark plugs and it quit pinging.
