the shifter arm is loose, but it seems to throw every other gear just fine. Anyway, I'll get pics tomorrow to show you what I got to work with. Thanks for the help.You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
