    Which Spark Plugs?

I need to put some spark plugs in my newly aquired S-10 with a 305 V8, the plans for the car is stock setup with a 600cfm holly or edelbrock, which plugs do u recomend I use I was thinking of just using the AC Delco R45TS..

is that good or should I use something different?

also what gap should I set them at?

if you have a stock set up and don't know what you need, put back what ever GM put in it from the factory. i've never run nothing but AC or champion, worked ok for me. plugs are like, gas and oil, ask 10 people and get 10 answers. i think any of the top brands will work for st. use .035 should work. JMO

    what are you smoking pat?

well like i said i work on over 5 boats a day and some had two engines in them so you can do the math and all the plugs that i look at were rim fireing and making many WEIRD things happing like two v6 chey that were jacobs ladder the dist caps the spark was walking the towers of the caps .the core of the plug was at a angle so they would not fire off the g strap yes i am sure it was a bad run on the plugs but it cost much $$ and time so i do not use them i am sure they can make good plugs. but they did not put them in them boats

i don't know for sure but i believe at one time champion was second only to ac in sales, if ac is junk, and champion is junk, that don't say much for the rest of them. champion may have been #1 a few yrs. ago.

i agree on the champions being junk statement.... for me they've always run great for about 200-500 miles and then it'll start running like she needs a tuneup, but then i put a set of autolites in there and it'll run for 15,000 perfectly fine
just because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

    Thumbs up

your reasoning is, you have a chevy. that come with ac plugs, but now that you think champion which comes in Chrysler's, might be made by ac, so you rather use autolites, which comes in fords. i got it !!!
