Do you have a 4.3 already? If not, find a Blazer with a 4.3 and use it as a donor for all of the motor mounts and accessories you will need. A 4.3 is 3/4 of a 350 and most all of the external parts will carry over. The engine is about 5 inches longer, you will have to take that into consideration when you install your accessories and radiator.

Not sure of the blazer's frame and wheelbase but you'll be best to search the blazer & s10 sites also. Choseing the right length trans will simplfy things,2.8 liter mounts, short water pump, different radiator and mounting, trans cross-member holes drilled or fabricated mount, firewall clearance issue(slightly,at top to access trans bolts),etc.,etc. These are 'some' of the areas that you will need to research,if you havn't already. And if the blazer has the 7.5 rear, they 'usually' don't stand up to alot of abuse without $$$ modifications. I am presently in the planning/rebuilding stages of a 85 V8S10.Surf the different sites, there's alot of info.on this but there are some well experienced builders here with this experience also.Hey has that thing gotta Heme in it? No, it's a shevy not heme!

Get one of the swap kits offered for it. It will include motor mounts, headers, and some of them have a radiator.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
