If it's only leakin less than a quarter of a quart between oil changes, it's nothing to worry about. Up to a quart between changes can be lived with as long as you park it over some kitty litter and chase some oil down it's throat every couple hundred miles. Anything heavier than a quart between oil changes = take 'er to an engine shop there's something serious wrong. Slightly off topic, but needed info anyways: did the inline sixes have these bolts too?Last edited by 379; 06-26-2006 at 07:19 AM.

I wonder if it's simply using oil, not leaking.http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/647081

buy some oil leak tracer dye, i know pep boys carries it, but i'm not sure who else does.... you put it in.... run it for a few minutes and then run a black light over the engine, you'll then see exactly where the leaking oil comes fromjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
