Crankcase Venting
Does Anyone Know The Proper Pcv Setup For A 350 Chevy? Should The Engine Be Sealed,or Should A Pcv Valve Go On The Drivers Side With A Breather On The Passenger Side?? Ive Also Seen Them Run Each Side Down To The Headers. Im Gonna Use The Car More At The Strip, but It Will Be Street Driven Also From Time To Time.thanks Again!

run a pcv on either both sides or a pcv on one side and a vent cap on the otherjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

Yea I think with two you'd get half the efficency at best. It doesn't mater which side you have one on as long as the other side is vented.
I sure if I'm wrong you'll find out here.

i've seen factory motors with 2 pcv valves and they run just fine.... they have one on each side and a non venting filler capjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

In order to have airflow from the crankcase thru the pcv valve, (or valves)and into the carburetor, the air has to come from somewhere. Without a vented fill pipe or vented fill cap or vented valve covers, where would the air come from????Old guy hot rodder

1. Never seen two pcv valves on one engine.
2. Must have a breather for the crankcase somewhere.
3. If you try to flow crankcase gasses through both sides of a "v" arrangement engine at the same time, with or without a breather, you will have flow problems.
