vacuum diagram for 1982 350 w/q-jet
hey, everyone. this is my first post, so woohoo. anyway, i wasn't sure if this question belonged in the "tuning" section or the "small block chevy" section. i just stuck my 350 in my 1982 k5 blazer (i know, it's not a hotrod) and the PO lost or removed the underhood sticker. so, if anyone has a diagram of the vacuum hose routing for a 1982 light duty 350 w/quadrajet, that would be a lifesaver. the closest year i've found is 1980. i realize that engine was the same from 80-85, but there were little external changes. i'd just rather nail it with the new engine instead of using logic and trial and error like i had to with the original engine.
thanks
oh, and yes, i have searched the forum, but didn't find what i needed.

well, 1980 is certainly better than nothing. to the best of my knowlegde, the general didn't make any internal engine changes from 80 to 85, and i'd think the externals would be pretty similar.
thesals, that is a very cool offer to go to the trouble. hopefully, someone will have it available in jpg format or something, and we won't have to see if you're bluffing. lol. thanks

i'm having a really rough time reading the diagram. so, if anyone has a bigger, clearer copy, i'd appreciate that. if not, i'll try to sharpen this one. it's just a lot tougher than i anticipated.

this is the best i can get it, sorry!! i got a feeling most of these valves and switches have been taken off your motor, and if you dont know or understand what they do and where they go you want never hook it up, with or without the diagram. do you have to pass a smog test?Last edited by lt1s10; 07-25-2006 at 02:24 PM.
