200 bucks for labor using the above rate. I have heard of guys that didn't have time changing cam and all for around 300 bucks because the engine had quite a few miles on it. I can't understand why someone would spend 300 bucks on camming a worn 350 when the can get a rebuilt 350 from auto Zone or wherever for about 800 bucks (700 for a 305)doing it themselves. I know its 500 bucks more but its better than throwing 300 away in a worn out motor.
