if its running a little hot, theres two things i'd look at, the size radiator in your mustang... the factory v-8 radiator really wont handle a performance engine too well, they just barely worked on the factory motors.... but i'd try messing with ignition timing first... also adding a shroud if you dont have one will help a bit... also if you're running the factory 4 blade mustang fan, scrap that immeadiately and get something a little more geared towards cooling the engine not just spinning aroundjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

we are running a stock 5 blabe and a stock shroud( ant much as you know ) and its a stock 3 core rad the timming seemd good we will know more when he gets out ib town ,,, we sit there yeaserday with the cap off nd let it rub and it never got above 180' i thought that was the best way to tell,, i was told that anyway so i will keep you guys up
thanks for helping us through this

if that 3 core can handle the motor running at idle and not overheat then it sounds like it should do pretty good, but the real test is to drive it around a few miles and then idle it, see what happens thenjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
Thank you Roger. .
