    More Distributor questions

Hi All - Still working on the 350/330 sbc going into a '46 Ford - Just a few questions on name brands of HEI distributors, Etc! Is Proform a decent name or should I stay with Pertronix or MSD? or? and what wires and plugs should I choose? This is going to be a mild street cruiser with the 350/330 crate motor from GM (vortec) - many thanks, charlyg

Well IMO proform is good ,but I consider it a knock off. They seem not to concentrate on one part ,they make it all.Petronix seems a little better, but for a dist.that has been tested and proven Id go with Mallory or MSD.In fact I do! About wires i forget the name ,but some will cause interference with radio ,and elestronic systems.

i reccomend accel... they're really good about replacing parts on warranty... hell i think i've had them replace this distributor almost 1000 times in the last 1000 miles
just because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
