    Question 66 impala Carb ?

I have a 66 Impala 4 dr never been molested 283 automatic, power steering, and a/c. I was wandering what would be a good bolt on carb that would beef it up a little and decent gas mileage?

if you are running a 4 bbl carb then the q-jet is your best bet. if you are running a 2 bbl then it's still your best bet and you 're going to need a intake and a carb and a air filter assembly. easy swap and it should give you what you want

hi 64 galaxy. you said that you have the old style carb that came with the car? if thats so then i would use that carb, it's a good carb and i think(imo) that you would be happy with the performance, and you don't have to play around with the linkage or anything else.
