need to know
just bought what is suppose to be a 84 corvette 350 short block with 35000 miles,has a new cam and lifters, pulled a couple lifter there coated with break in lube,guy said he installed new cam and lifters,double roller chain and gear,the cam hasnt even been broke in yet!he gave me the cam card. we pulled the pan and he said he plastigaged all the bearings ,it has a brand new melling oil pump,drive gear, and windage tray bolted to the block, the casting number on the block says...14010207.
the piston number is 464664,there flat tops with a slit acoss one side,can somebody help me and tell me what i bought for 325.00GLENN
you can do it if you know how it works

hello . about the motor that you just bought it's a 1980-1985 350 4 bolt main engine thats out of a truck. don't know what kind of truck.WRENCHD

i don't know, all that i have is that it's a 4 bolt out of a truck and it did'nt state that there was a option for 2 or 4 bolt mains, only stated that it is a 4 bolt main engine. maybe some sites use different info on the same #'s ?WRENCHD
