1997 chevy cavalier, any ideas???
Hello, i have a 1997 cavalier and want to supp it up, i already have a k&n air filter and headders but would like to know if a turbo charger is really what i need next. i am open to all information, 9mm sparkplugg wires, ecu chips exc. its already set up and has no2. if a turbo is a must than which brand should i get? Thanks a lot - mitch.

Does it have the Ecotech engine??? If so, there are a bunch of goodies available for them.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

If it aint weeping yet, check the rt front corner of the block where the head meets the cast iron. That engine has a big problem keeping head gaskets together. There is only about 1/4" of cast iron there at that corner of the block and there is a water jacket right there. That's all the sealing surface you have for sealing the head to the block.
