no you don't want a gas line running into your car. you need to know what ohms your new gauge takes, and buy a gas tank sensor and float set up for your gauge. if it will fit your tank, and you can adj. the float so your gauge will read right you can use a float out of the junk yard if you want to, or you can buy then from a lot of dif. places. they are easy to wire. the sensor in the tank will have 2 wires, one ground and one going to the gauge in the car. the dash gauge will have a hot wire and the wire going to the tank and a light wire.Originally Posted by Fordfanatic415
