The best way I have found to plug unused ports is with a wooden match stick and 2-part liquid epoxy. The plugs stand up well to engine heat, and never leak----But---if you find out later that you want to unplug the port (which does happen), then they are easy to drill out without damaging the parent metal casting on the carburetor.Old guy hot rodder
