Well guys. new total $2,956. engine Machine work was cheap, $248.42 and he switched my pistions on the rods, bore and hone, cam bearings ( charged me for the bearings but, not for the installation ) $21.25 and $4 somthing for freeze plugs. but, I noticed the other day, my harmonic balancer was in crap shape, arleady had a sleeve on it, and the rubber didn't look good, so I had to get a new 1, no parts store could get 1, so $139.95 from Dearborn Classics, but it's new and not rebuilt, and whail I was at it, I bought a new set of original " Ramp Lok " exhaust manifold bolts for $17.95 also. and yesterday, I purchased the Transdapt carb adaptor I needed for the 2300 Holley. $3k here I come. I can't wait tho, right now, this car is all I'v got, and it's starting to go back togther finally.You don't know what you've got til it's gone
