ok. the main reason i want to rebuild an engine is just to have a project. I guess I don't have to rebuild an L-98, but it would make me more familiar with the engine I have.I have a 1948 Chevrolet Stylemaster and a 1978 Chevrolet Camaro, I had a 1985 Chevrolet Corvette. Im 18.

I would bet there are no significant differences between an early 350 and an '85 model. Most of the high tech stuff is on the outside of the motor. The basic assembly is the same.
