Good sludge removers dissolve. The gunk is now viscous enough to come out on draining the system. No mystery really, just go with what you trust.What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

i'm with you on that one denny, i prefer to use tranny fluid.... it seems to do a great job cleaning gunk out of an engine, and is safer for your bearings and such than some de-gunkersjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
