Full preassure oiling 235's from the early 50's are the most desirable. $100-$500 for unrebuilt, price reflecting how compleate it is, and the condition. this is what I'v seen thru ebay.

A 1954 235 is pressure oiled. Running? Then I'd say close to 500 bucks. Not running, well, whatever you can get.
If you're "Restoring" it, won't you need the engine?

I am putting a small block in it. The guy I bought these 2 cars from said they both ran like a swiss clock, but i never really cared I knew they were going to come out. So I am not sure if they are running, they both seem to have recent plugs and wires.

Restoring is completely different from modifying. Anyone restoring a 54 Chevy will need the original 235. Dropping a V-8 in is modifying.
