ya help me ID the 348-409 head, I cant find the casting on it???? I got a 4X on the head with a GM8 and on the exhaust manifold bolted to it I got 190243 4, The 56 Corvette block number is 3720991 I got date code F216 I got 2 intakes for that motor as well the 3837109's Vette Heads 3725306 ported polished, stud girdled, BB 65 Vette head 3872702 427 written on it as it could have been 396 as well... And theres more! tomorrow is my day off and I scrounge through the other half of the dumpster, its one of those big blue dumpsters that they bring on the back of a semi... I'm half way through it... ahhhh after visiting the corvete fourms I know know those trannys I saw were I bet from them as well, they said POWERGLIDE on them, I'll be taking those now that I know what they most likely went to.... I'll post any new cool finds tomorrow...
