    From umgweb.com---
    HONDA CB200
    1974-78, 194cc OHC twin,
    18hp, 80mph, 80mpg, 300lbs
Honda peaked in their small twin design with the CB200, merging reasonable speed, frugality and ride quality. The front disc brake was, and remains, something of a nightmare and many examples have rotted chassis that verge on the dangerous. High mileage equates to shot clutches, camshafts, tensioners and, ultimately, small end bearings. Any with less than 30 thou worth a look.

Ha ha yeah i hear ya.. my 'busa is my baby and as i have a bunch of old bike stuff laying around i figured i'd build a lil chopper for my gal and being as she's not all hat experienced on bikes i thought i'd keep it small in the horses department... should still be good for around 90mph... its just not gonna break any records getting there..lol

Figured out why i couldnt find any info online... the damned server we're behind at work, restricts searches and browsing for pretty much most things...

Been a while but I remember them well. I started with a 71 HD FX Super Glide and then in a weak moment I bought a 73 500. Later I bought a 750 just to race, and then sold it 6 months later to buy the new '73 Z1 900 . Both the 750 and the 500 were wicked handlers, even with the factory installed steering dampers. Sold the 500 and the Z1 to get a new 75 Wing. Still have the 75 Wing, actually have two, one in Antares Red and the other in Turquoise.

Being a vehicle pack rat I wish I still had the Z and the FX

Now that I think back on those days (2 wheeler days) I am most fortunate to still be alive.

Yup, I love those triples. I think they will still give any new bike a run for the money down a straight line. My buddy has a pristine H1 500 sitting in his garage. He wants me to take it off his hands. Its got trouble all written all over it. Check these beauties out:

The tri-cylinder two-stroke Kwackers were quite a bike.

Perhaps the most interesting one I ever saw was a twin engine drag bike at Lions Dragstrip one day.
Darndest sounding thing you ever heard.
It sounded like they had the engines coupled so that it fired every 60 degrees.

I forget the times, but it was running with the drag Harleys....

It's been one helluva long time since I owned the triples and the Z, but if my memory serves me I believe that the 750 H2 held the record for 1/4 mile for quite a while, and that was a out of the box, retail version running on pump gas. They were the original "fast and furious" machines.

My 750 was super fast but a real handfull to control. I really liked the 500 as it was super quick and easy to throw around in tight turns at speed. I regretted getting rid of that one when I got the Z, but the Z was not only fast but made one helluva nice tourer. I loaded it up with a Vetter Windjammer and bags and headed out cross country several times. For a big bike (about 600 lbs) it was nimble and quick. Not as comfortable of a tourer as the Wings, but you could go in to turns a lot deeper without scraping the shiny stuff. Did scrape the shine off my leathers at the knees though.

He said he would sell it to me for $2500. Hes got a few parts bikes to go with it.
He doesn't want to sell it to some kid, who wouldn't appreciate it and ruin it.
