i think the carb is way too big for your application.

A 600 cfm will do nicely, even a 500 will work well with a mild race cam. While I know some people have or are running a 750 and doing it well, it really is too large for a 350. JMO.Bob

He's probably running too large jets in the primary and a 50 cc pump and I agree with both of you, a 750 DP is too large for a mild 350.Ken Thomas

What I'm hearing is flooding equals bogging. I remember the post also. Is it really flooding or is it bogging. I can have that 750 mounted to your toilet or your kids bicycle and it will perform. So, I am bewildered on whether it's a bog or is it truly flooding.......hhhmmmm.....Last edited by nitrowarrior; 07-13-2007 at 07:38 PM.
What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

I am kinda with you on that Nitro. Never ran a 750 on a 350 or so cube motor, but always found that size, be it Holley or Edelbrock, etc. worked the best on a 390 FE Ford. Street wise and strip wise.Duane S

With the right cam, heads and tune, a 750 will work just fine on a fairly robust 350 (400+ hp). It's just tough to make it work on a mild 350.
I doubt if it's flooding. I'm guessing it's just getting a big gulp of air and bogging until the R's come up.
I wonder what he's adjusting?Jack

Jack, I gotta apologize to all, I just reread Mooneye's post. The guy is running a 750 DOUBLE PUMPER with a small cam and a 2500 stall speed converter.
Man, that's just wrong. No wonder he's getting the flooding feeling.Duane S

Duane, no need for apologies. Nobody came here and described the problem as a bog or flooding. I want to hear which it is. Everybody assumes what the correction factor is. Nope, let's find out what the real description of the problem is.What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

Maybe a squirter size or maybe a acc. cam size or location would help.
Is he "leaving" at 2,500 rpm's or is he "leaving" off idle?
