Oldtrucker,,,the block I don't have but they are on ebay,,,but having said that,I personally wouldn't buy a block from ebay unless it's a machine shop selling it,,,,buying one from an individual would be risky in my opinion.
And the machine shops here in Columbubbuswon't bore one(283) past .060" unless they have the money first,if they get a 'breakthru',,,well bless the lowered and thank you for the offering!
Got a good set of silvolite(used,but good)pistons at .060" for the 283 if you'd be interested,PM me.

Ditto on the model kits! My best were lost when the Hobby Shop burned under suspicious circumstances....
