what kind of budget you on? an 11:1 compression motor with 150 shot of nitro is gonna require a lot of very expensive parts.... unless you want your baby blowing up her engine first coupla days driving it...... also sounds like her wallet will always be empty with the price of gas the way it is.... so you'll have to figure into your budget all the times she wants you to fill up her tank once you give us an estimated budget.... we can give you an estimated range of what you really can build.... besides if you're green as grass.... most not all, but most... peoples first engine if they try building something radical.... then they bought a really expensive brick..... but i'm not saying you're incompetant, just most people miss a few steps, including properly cleaning parts before assembly or not greasing right.... not plastigauging or not torqueing properly.....Last edited by thesals; 11-26-2007 at 09:32 AM.

make sure on your crank/rods/pistons go with the higher quality forged parts..... not fun having a rod break because you decided to go cheap.... god knows how cheap i used to bejust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
Merry Christmas ya'll
