What is this?
yes, Denny, I realize that it is an old gym sock. Actually, I was referring to what kind of engine it is.
I guess I need to hear from somebody who knows about boats. You out there, Don?
A guy gave me an old fiberglass 17' (more or less) I/O boat which I dragged home and added to the piles of wreckage already here. The outdrive is missing as is the intake. I'm curious as to who manufactured the engine. It has the "Mercruiser" name on it.
It sort of looks like an older Ford four-banger that was in my tender care a few years back but I'm not at all sure that's what it is.
Whatever it is, I don't need it and I'll gladly give it to anybody in the Dallas/Fort Worth area who wants it badly enough to come get it. I don't have any idea what kind of shape it's in.
