Most of the issues that you are seeing are ( assuming that your jetting, power valves are close) can all be fixed in the base plate----I'll try to put suggested fixes in a PM tonite--if several guys are interested I'll try to post it for everybody

im really thinking of getting an e-85 carb e-85 is only 3.59 a gallon ehre that beats 7.75-10.80 for race gas ! and i only have about 5 inches of rubber in my fuel system other than that its hard alluminum or braided line.

We've been using it for 3 years now Scooter...Plugs are a bit harder to read is the only bad thing. The octane is great and we've had no problems with it at all....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

48 IDA Webers for SB or 54 IDA for BB. Once properly tuned and adjusted Webers, IMO, out perform most any 4bbl or dual four setup. Never drag raced with them but road-race/open track they were fantastic...infinite tuning capabilities to get every bit of performance out of an engine.JMO having run Holleys, and Demons"Breathe in... Breathe out... then move on with life. Life's too short to sweat the small stuff"
Thank you Roger. .
